Google announced the rules for search ranking of content created by artificial intelligence

Google advises not to use content generated by artificial intelligence on sites, if the main goal is to increase the ranking of the website in the search engine.

Why is artificial intelligence not the best choice for filling a site?

In February 2023 Google has announced new search engine rules, according to which it will rank sites that have unique content created with the help of artificial intelligence (AI). 

They state that providing Internet users with unique quality information that meets EEAT standards (Experience, Competence, Authority and Truthfulness) has always been and will continue to be a top priority for the company. Because of this, the use of automatically generated content did not allow sites to get a high ranking before and will not allow it in the future. 

This fully corresponds to the point of view on the content created by artificial intelligence, which was announced by the representative of the search service of Google, John Muller, last year: “From the very beginning of our company's existence, there was a warning in the instructions for webmasters about the use of automatically generated content. And despite the fact that modern artificial intelligence has made it possible to raise its quality a little higher, it still remains automatically generated. So it should be treated as spam."
